Here to Keep the World Clean
The journey began during the 2006 school year. As members of the Compton HS Recycle Club understood the importance of recycling and its impact on the environment.
Campus Clean Up
Campus clean ups offer our students at Compton High School an opportunity to help maintain our campus clean as well as encourage them to build a sense of pride towards keeping their school clean.
Paper Recycling
Paper and Cardboard may be dropped off in the campus white recycling bin located in the back of the campus.
Recycling Drop Off
At Compton HS Recycling is our priority. In efforts to keep our campus clean our club is currently working on raising funds to purchase recycling bins which will be set across our campus. As of now students, teachers and staff members may drop off plastic recyclables such as bottles, cans and glass in room A-104 or the Student Store. Ink cartridges are now recyclable and may be dropped off in the Student Store for processing.
